Re-Pricing Our Pieces Accessibly

For the past 8 months, bitnifty has worked to offer as much value as possible to the artists we collaborate with. In our effort to offer this maximum value, we have priced works in a way we believe representative of the creativity and effort artists have put into these pieces. In so doing, we have lost sight of the greatest opportunity we can offer to our artists: the ability to launch an NFT career where the opportunity would not have existed otherwise. Today we admit this mistake, and acknowledge our error and work to rectify it by slashing the prices of all unsold bitnifty pieces in half.
Our fundamental purpose has never changed: we exist to help creatives launch their NFT careers where legal or financial restrictions prevent them from doing so. By minting artist’s first works and paying them in Ethereum, our model is set up to finance the beginnings of long and fruitful careers for all the artists we work with. This is the main value we strive to offer, a utility unmatched by any other NFTs out there. The possibility to bring more creatives into the NFT space is what we came in for, and we’ll continue working towards this end for as long as our hands are able to type.
Collectors that buy bitnifty NFTs effectively sponsor the beginning of a career for an NFT artist that would not had the opportunity otherwise. We try to address places in the world where Ether is impossible to get without shady or illegal deals. bitnifty provides an opportunity for these artists to work for their own Ether, and then enabling them to use it to begin long and fruitful careers in the NFT space. We have always worked to provide the ETH, experience, and reputation any artist may then use to begin their own successful futures in the NFT space.
For the future, we will price pieces to allow accessibility for collectors and to enable more people to sponsor the future career of an NFT artist. Our focus is enabling access, to assist with the first step many artists cannot take alone. bitnifty will continue to work to enable artists to overcome the barriers they face due to where they’re from.
